Belong Care Coalition is not the clinical provider
Belong Care Coalition Inc. does not deliver clinical care. Providers remain responsible for clinical care, documentation, professional standards, licensing, patient consent, and scope of practice.
Receipt integrity
Insurance receipts must show the practitioner's name, college registration number, discipline, and exact care location. Receipts may be co-branded with BelongHealth.ca, but legal service attribution remains with the practitioner or clinic entity. Generic 'Belong Care' receipts that hide practitioner identity are not permitted.
Cross-disciplinary data
Patient records are siloed by provider and discipline. Cross-disciplinary sharing requires explicit, time-bounded patient consent recorded through the portal — no exceptions.
Audit trail
Every document upload, status change, payment-model change, and receipt generation is written to a tamper-evident audit log accessible to compliance staff.
